guys in it named Burt Lancaster
and Spencer Tracy. The gimmick
is that they're both working on the
same picture right now, "Judg
ment at Nuremberg."
So what would be more natural
than a feud between these two
'hot contenders?
I tried it out with Lancaster.
"Pretty hammy guy, this Tracy,
huh?" I said insinuatingly.
"What's that?" Lancaster in

and he said sadly. "Things are H
pretty tough in your racket, nun,
kid?"
Failure. Okay, I tried it with
Tracy, who can be counted on to
growl or grouse on any topic.

I commented offhandedly.
