I. Kersey at the club dinner meeting held Wednesday night at the Genova Hotel. The city council members were guests of the Lions Club. Mayor Kersey also reminded the members they would have a con tinued role to perform in the fu ture as there was plenty of work J(or the group to accomplish. Pete Belcastro, a past president of the club, was introduced by R. G. Gaynor, president, as the chairman of the city planning commission selected by the com mission group. Robert Burcell reported approx imately 200 pairs of used eye glasses were collected for a spe cial project and are to be shipped to a foreign land for distribution to children with impaired eyesight. Dunsmuir Receives News Of Federal Fund Grant DUNSMUIR Word has been received by the high school board that $4,034.38 in federal funds will be available to Dunsmuir Joint Union High School on a matching basis for remodeling of the gen eral science room and additional science equipment Dunsmuir High School has ified for these funds under the.
