Photo by David Hardman Director Analyzes Marilyn Monroe LONDON (UPP Directon John Huston posed the question today: Inside the international sex symbol that is Marilyn Monroe is there a nice, quiet young woman fighting to get out? And is this the reason for the tangled emotional life of the star? These questions occurred to Huston as he considered the case of Miss Monroe in the light of his current interest in the teach ings of Sigmund Freud, the fa ther of psychoanalysis. Huston, who directed Miss Monroe's most recent film, "The Misfits." now is preparing a screen biography of Freud which he regards as the most exciting venture of his career. "It has given me a new insight into the minds oC some of the stars I have directed," he said. Huston was reluctant to offer examples but finally agreed to state an opinion on the troubles Miss Monroe has been having. WASHINGTON cAPi-West Ber lin's Mayor Willy Brandt says he is "inclined to believe there will be no new Berlin crisis within the next few months" but adds "per haps later this year." Brandt is expected to talk about this and other Kuropean defense matters when he meets President Kennedy this afternoon at the White House. Over the weekend Brandt talked with Kennedy's defense aides. They included Walt W. Rostow, deputy special assistant for se curity affairs, and Paul Nitze, assistant secretary of defense for international security affairs. Brandt made his assessment of the West Berlin situation Sunday in a television interview (NBC Meet the Press). He also pledged there would be no change in his country's foreign policy if his Social Democratic party should win the coming elec tions. "Friendship with the United States will remain the cornerstone of our policy, and membership in the Western community an un changeable part of it," Brandt said. Brandt said he does not think it a good idea to place West Ber lin under United Nations responsibility.
