Plans Benefit

Past Matrons and Patrons Club
will have a benefit card party
at the Masonic Hall in Alturas
at 8 o'clock on Saturday evening
March 11. Bridge, pcdro and pi'

Admission will be one dollar.
Delicious homemade refresh
ments will be served.
Club members are looking for

ender iris, highlighted with sil
vered horseshoes, decorated the
luncheon tables at' the Shamrock
Cafe for the spring luncheon of
the Siskiyou Cow Belles held
Thursday, with approximately 50
women in attendance.
Other decorations consisted of i
corsages of daffodils and Dutch!
iris, which were claimed by the
person having a leather favor at
her place setting.
The clever decor was arranged
by Mrs. Esther Foulke, Mrs. Alice
Hessig and Mrs. Shirley (Hessig)
Elwood.
Mrs. Pat Smith, president, con
ducted the business session at
which time she appointed chair

Lloyd Henderson Feb. 13 at the regular meeting of the
Merrill Mariners. Valentines were used for decorations
for the party which observed the Henderson's wedding

Petrasck were honored recently
on their 25th wedding anniversary
w ith a surprise party at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Petra
sck. The refreshment table was dec-1
orated with a miniature money
tree, tied with red ribbon bows.
The center arrangement was
made of artificial flowers of pink
and silver. A large sheet cake,
iced w ith a pink and white "Happy
Anniversary" completed the table
decorations.
A buffet dinner was served, aft
er which the evening was spent
playing cards.
Stanley Petrasek, student of
SOC, was home for his parents'
anniversary. The Petraseks were
Presbyterian Church by Dr. R. M
Stevenson.
Their only attendants were his
sister? Irene Jelinek, and his
brother. Paid.
The Petraseks have a younger
son, Dale.
