Lodges Install New Officers PTA Meeting ! Honors Founders Twenty two years ago on Feb. 10, 19M. the very first Klamath Council of Parents and Teachers Founders Day meeting was held at Mills School. The council ob served Founders Day at Mills School apain this year Tuesday, Feb. 7. The first PTA movement in Klamath County was started with Mrs. Burt Hawkins as presi dent at Henley in 1915. Mrs. Haw kins was also the first president ! ol a city scnooi unit, wnen me Mills PTA was organized in 1920. The first Klamath Council PTA was organized under the direc tion of Mrs. L. V. Brewer in the year 1929. Mrs. Orson Stearns presented the program honoring past presi dents and the founders of the PTA movement. Mrs. Rurt Haw kins shared many experiences of!
