To Dedicate : New Library CHILOQU1N The area branch library here w ill be dedicated in formally Saturday with a coffee hour for the public from 2 to 5 p.m. Special invitations have gone to members of the Klamath County Library Board of Directors, t h e county court, city councilmen and others who made the library pos sible and to other librarians. Mrs. Paul Herron, librarian, and Mrs. William Lorenz are in charge of the afternoon's plan ning. Mrs. Lorenz was a member of the library board from 1949 un til January of this year. Library headquarters at Klam ath Falls have added 500 books to the 1.200 library books and the ; 1,000 donated books already there. The selection includes a variety of books for children, teen-agers and adults. Reference books and periodicals are included, said Mrs. Betty Cote, county librarian. ! The library has been open to, the public for about two weeks. It was moved from the city clerk's office to the old fire hall near city hall. j The city donated the hall toi the county for the library and provided some of the labor neces-; sary to level the concrete floor, cover it with tile, add shelves, a window, rest rooms, new cup board doors and closets, repaint the building and its furniture and complete other alterations. Hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. ' Monday, Wednesday and Satur day. The librarian is contemplat ' ing adding more hours.
