Mr. and , Mrs. Johnson were married Jan. 18, 1936. in Pine City, Minn. They have three chil dren, Leroy, Duane and Lenore, and two granddaughters. Linda and Karen, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Johnson, all of Mer rill. Those helping with plans for the affair were Mrs. Ithel Chapman. YREKA At the recent meeting of the Greenhorn Home Econom ics Club plans for this year's activities were discussed. The group met at the home of Mrs. Mabel Marx who was assisted by Mrs. Betty Calkins and Mrs. Sar ah Rogers. The business session was conducted by Mrs. Haldis Ralston, chairman. It was decided to present past master of Greenhorn Grange, Ken neth Blew and past Home Eco nomics Club chairman, Mrs. Hal dis Ralston, with a gift order for a shrub or tree. ' ' Guild Plans Future Events BONANZA Mrs. Elfreda Lind say entertained the Guild of St.1 Barnabas Episcopal Church of Langcll Valley at her home the afternoon of Jan. 26. Mrs. Lind-I say is the new president of the club. i There will be a potluck dinner , Feb. 5 following church for the annual church meeting. Marie' Bland will be in charge. Vclda Haley, Dorothy Peterson and Marie Bland will have a pan cake breakfast on Feb. 14. Shrove j Tuesday, at the Bonanza Library; from 10 until 2 o'clock. Mrs. Lindsay appointed sommit tees for the annual turkey din ner and bazaar to be held this fall. 'Carolyn Dearborn and Velda Haley will be in charge of the dinner; Madge Monroe, pillow slips and dolls; Lula Penner, dish towels, and Marie Bland will takc; charge of the apron booth. Other committees tor the year will be: visiting. Grace Dearborn and Beverley Roberts; cookie list. Sheryl Kcady; greeting cards, Carolyn Dearborn, and card par-j ties, Lois Monroe. The next meeting will be at the home of Margaret Stevenson on Feb. 23. Grace Dearborn won the spe cial prize. Mrs. Mary Murphy and Mrs. Dorothy Reed, co-chairmen, have planned an unusual dessert to be served at 1 p.m. before the after noon play. Guests are asked to arrange for their own partners. Tables of ca nasta will also be in play.
