Wednesday, February 1, 11 Candidates For Trip To Be Tested PLAXE DISABLED Janet Owens, 19, and Toby Schuh, 17, will be interviewed at Salem Feb. 3 as Klamath Coun- ty's candidates (or a trip to Na tional 4-H Club Conference in Washington, D.C., April 22 and 23. They were selected on basis of outstanding activities in 4-H Club work. Her specialty during her nine years of club work has been t'lothing and foods. She was a delegate to 4-H Club Congress in Chicago In 1959 for her accom plishments in Uie foods project His interest has been the 4-H entomology project in his nine years of club membership. He has won several honors, includ ing a state fair championship, with his extensive insect collec tion. Electricity, woodworking and Junior leadership have also held his interest. I Oregon will send four delegates! to the national conference. The purpose is to give 4-H'ers an op portunity to learn more about the nation's history as well asj to become more familiar with . WEDNESDAY I PLAYERS CLUB members will have their annual chicken dinner at the Moose home, Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. Social hourj will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Rescr-i vations must be made by noon Jan. 30.
