Laki Garden Club met Dec. 12 at Hen ley Grange Hall to make Christ- Pair Greets New Arrival Mr. and Mrs. Tom Murdnrk are receiving congratulations on trie Dirtn ot a son, their first child, born Dec. 14 in Berkeley. The baby has been named Jef fery Thomas. His father is a sec ond year student at the Episco pal Seminary. On Dec. 19. at the regular Christmas meeting, a short busi ness session preceded the noon potluck luncheon. Twenty (our members were present for the affair held at the Mt. Laki Church. Hostesses were Mrs. Jay Fair clo, Mrs. Dick Henzel and Mrs. Alice Dixon. Members took food and canned goods to fill a basket for the Klamath Falls Gospel Mission. Mrs. Betty Henzel entertained the club by showing pictures of Hawaii taken during their Cattle Congress tour last winter. A Christmas gift exchange fol lowed the program. The house was decorated with Christmas motif, also carried out in tallies and refreshments. High prize for the evening went to Mrs. Don Horsley, second high to Mrs. Oscar Peterson, and tra veling to Mrs. Howrey Roberts. Others enjoying the party were Mrs. Homer Dixon, Mrs. Charlie Schmidli and Mrs. Jesse McFau. The bride-to-be, a former resident of Tulelake and Malin, will be graduated from Hayfork High School in June, where she is active in student af fairs. She was also crown ed "Miss Trinity County" this past year and repre sented that county at the state fair. Her fiance is an employe of the US Forest Service of Harrison Gulch near Platina. Husbands Guests At Holiday Party MAUN - Malin Helping Hand Society members were hosts to their husbands for a Christmas party Wednesday evening, Dec. 21, at the Community Hall. A potluck dinner was enjoyed with the traditional turkey and all the trimmings. Walker, of McCloud. and Gail Cun ningham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cunningham of Oak land, were married In the Oak land Neighborhood Church Dec. 17.
