Wesley Peyton Justice, 21, Yre ka, was arrested by California Highway Patrolmen Nov. 27 and booked at the county jail on charges of being drunk in and about an automobile and contrib uting to delinquency of a minor. He was arrested and booked at the county jail on charges of as sault with a deadly weapon, and was later released on bail. Blaine Mcrton William Toftum. 40. Mount Shasta, was arrested by Yreka police Nov. 25 and booked in the county jail on charges of public intoxication. He was later released on bail. Ted Gary Isquirdo, 24, a sales man from Central Valley, was ar res'.ed by sheriff's deputies Nov." 25 for violation of the California civil code as an outcome of vacu um cleaner sales in the county1 on a conditional sales contract basis. He was released after post ing bail. On Nov. 28 Mrs. Dorothy Grune of Grecnvlew reported to Cottar that unidentified juveniles shot both her slock dogs in the yard of her home, on Nov. 27. She said she and her husband noticed the boys going by the house with a gun. Shortly after they found both dogs injured, she said. After investigation by sher iff's deputies, two local juveniles were cited to appear in juvenile court. Frederick Delmar Knox. 46, An derson, was arrested by CHP offi cers near Macdoel Nov. 28, and was booked at the county jail on ty jail. Glenn Franklin Rut ledge, 40, Montague, was booked at the county jail Dec. 8 on charges of disturbing the peace. He was ar rested by Chief of Police Al Wid- ner of Montague. He appeared before Judge James B. McAd- ams of Montague Justice Court and was sentenced to a term in the county jail, or to pay a fine of $157.50. James Justin Cousins, 29. Duns muir, a truck driver, was hooked at the county jail Dec. 7, after his appearance in Mount Shastt Justice Court on charges of over loading his logging truck. He was sentenced to serve 172 days In jail or to pay .a fine of $861. Charles Newsom, 33, " was sen tenced to serve 90 days in the county tail Dec. 7. He entered a plea of guilty of theft before Judge L. M. Chase of Dorris Justice Court. Newsom was returned to the county Dec. 5 following his arrest m Los Angeles to answer a war rant from Siskiyou County issued following a sheriff's investigation in 1957. Newsom was charged with stealing $300 from a Chilo- quin, Ore., man.
