E. convention in Oregon City, March 24-27, Attending, left to right, will be Arlene Skaugset, regional vice president in the state society, and director ef Christian Endeavor Education, First Christian Church, who will direct the intermediate Bible dramatiiation contest, and Betty Sturgeon, president of the Klamath-Lake C. E. Union. Betty Bell and Jan Friedrich, above, with Paulette Eden, not in the picture, will ap pear as a trio. Convention Theme Told "The Life Thai Wins," will be the theme of the 68th annual state Christian Endeavor Convention which will open March 24 in Ore gon City and continue through March 27. PTA NEWS MARCH U .MEETING TULELAKE Members of the 25th District, California Congress Parents and Teachers, will meet in the Home Kc Building on the fairgrounds at Tulelak Thursday, March 24. There will be a colfee hour at 10 a.m., followed by the business meeting at 10:30. Lunch, at a charge of $1.25, will be served at noon by ladies of the grange. Program for the afternoon ses sion will be a panel discussion on the migrant worker. The meeting is open to anyone interested. A special invitation has been issued to members of Newell PTA. Reservations for the luncheon may he made by calling 7-0375 by March 21. Representatives of the Klamath Lake C. E. Union, Arlene Skaug set. regional vice president in the state society, Betty Sturgeon, Bet ty Bell, Jan Friedrich and Paulette Eden, all of Klamath Falls will be among those attending. Sessions will include assemblies, conferences, workshops, quiet hours, contests for all age groups, junior convention, tours and a ban quet. Among convention personalities will be Ellis R. Shaw, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, San Di ego, speaker: Truman Robbins. minister of the Christian Church, ilton-Freewater, song leader: Rev. Jim Hagelganz, pastor of the Hills dale Community Church (United Church of Christ). Rev. Gene Ho vce, pastor of the Blachly Coin, munity Church, Triangle Lake; Jim Smith, pastor of the Roseburg Christian Church, quiet hour lead ers; Wayne H. LaFarge, elder at Oregon City Christian Church and treasurer of Clackamas County, local convention chairman. A large attendance is anticipated. (AP'-Gov eminent nnestigators asemrnccl added bits of evidence todav tending to prove that a bomb de stroyed a big airliner with 3-1 aboard near here last Jan. 6. Three witnesses remained to testify in the closing round of a Civil Aeronautics Board inquirv into the disaster. Ml were expected to point more strongly than ever to New York attorney Julian A. Frank. 32, as the key figure in the bombing. Frank carried more than a mil lion dollars in lile insurance. It was indicated the witnesses would show how the distribution ni the wreckage and of human tis sueall but proved that the air plane explosion occurred in the part of the plane that Frank had occupied. The CAB announced previously that a dynamite explosion touched otf by a dry cell battery occurred inside the plane near a seat used by Frank. Frank's body and some wreck age stained with explosive ma terials were found 20 miles from the mam part of the plane, where the nicies of the 33 other victims were located. The new evidence scheduled to he introduced concerned the dis covery inside the airplane wreck .lie of chips of bone and other p..rts of Frank's body, including a part of one of his missing legs.
