The class will be gin Tuesday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m. Six two-hour lessons com prise the course, and meetings arc held in the evening to enable ex pectant fathers to attend. The cur riculum includes lessons on feed ing, bathing, and handling a new born infant, plus a visit to local hospitals to acquaint the prospec tive parents with hospital facili ties. The course has been approved by the Klamath County Medical Society. Mrs. Naomi Miller, public health nurse, will be the instructor. The class meets at the Cherub Diaper Service Building, 2000 South Sixth Street. This class is the latest one sched tiled by the Red Cross for this spring, and the course will not be offered again for several months. Enrollment is limited, and any one interested is asked to register mmediatcly by phoning the diap er headquarters, TU 4-4125. The course is given without charge as community service of the local Red Cross. Prisoners Go To Salem Three prisoners sentenced to the stale penitentiary Tuesday were taken to Salem by sheriff's depu ties Wednesday. Two of Ihe prisoners were n married couple, Alfred Edward and Mary Ann Boyer, both 27 and both of Loomis, California. They pleaded guilty to forging a check stolen from the Iron Mountain Lumber Company. Alfred Boyer was sentenced to six years and Mrs. Boyer was sentenced to two years. The third prisoner was 23-year- old Richard K. Davison of 811 Pine Street, sentenced to two years after violating probation by writ ing bad checks. Deputy Sheriffs Del Summers. Lewis Bogart and Mae Sloman ac companied the prisoners. On the day before Deputy Sher iff Dale Mattoon returned with Houston V. Brand, 34-year old Klamath Falls man, who was sent to the Oregon State Hospital lot observation. Brand had pleaded guilty to contributing to the delin quency of a minor.
