(AP)-Thc tempestuous estrangement of Wil liam James Stevens and his so cially prominent wife, Jan Kem per Stevens, ended Tuesday with a reconciliation. Mrs. Stevens met her husband at the airport here. They em braced and walked off hand in hand. He arrived from Fort Lau derdale, Fla., where he operates a cocktail lounge. "We are extremely happy to be back together again, and we're looking forward to a lonfi future together," Mrs. Stevens said la ler. On Jan. 7. after she had filed for divorce, Stevens took their 5-month-old daughter, Jan Clair, with him to New Orleans. In a publicized court fight that result ed, Mrs. Stevens won custody of Uie child and returned to Kansas City. The divorce action will be dropped, Mrs. Stevens said.
