Many of these spots are for swimming beaches. 1 (ifi m -'I S v 4 ideally suited for picnics and Angus Bull Donated For Dimes March RED BLUFF A royally bred, top Angus herd bull prospect has been donated by William T. Beaton and wife of Napa, to be the March of Dimes bull at the ltiO Bed Bluff Bull Sale, scheduled for Feb ruary 4, 5, 6, according to Sidney Watson, member of the sale com mittee. The young bull is sired by Bardo- licrmere S A 3510 who was sired by 0 Baidoliermcre 35th, a full brother to the 1953 International Grand Champion Angus bull at Chi cago. The 1!)G0 Red Bluff auction will offer 355 horned and polled Here ford bulls, 42 Shorthorns and 80 Angus consigned by 83 leading reg istered beef cattle breeders from seven western states, Watson add- d. The March of Dimes bull will be sold on Friday, February 5, just preceding the auction of the Ali gns and Shorthorn consignment. Already, the Red Bluff event "has brought in $103,029 for the Polio Foundation since this addition was included in the nation's greatest sale of graded and inspected bulls, the committeeman said. He added that the Red Bluff Sale Committee first began auctioning a March of Dimes bull in 1947 and that this feature of the event has since become a traditional high light of the famous sale. Each year, he said, a noted fig ure in public life serves as a guest auctioneer. TV and movie star Rex Allen auctioned the 1959 March of Dimes bull for $11,009 to cattlemen operating in California, Nevada, Oregon, Iowa, Washington and Wyoming. In February 1958, guest auction eer Tennessee Ernie Ford obtained $10,595 for a Hereford March of Dimes bull. Watson added that the name of another equally famous personality. who will serve as the 1960 March of Dimes bull guest auctioneer, will be announced soon. DUTCH TREAT CLYMER, N.Y. If the park is developed it will offer pleasant surroundings. It will interfere to some extent with hunt ing, but will offer probably more fishing Hum it supports now, al though the luke is open to the pub lic at at least one point and no boatmen are turned away. If you are looking for a day's trip it might be worthwhile to drive down and take a look. George Price,- city parks and recreation director, says there have been as many as 800 youngsters skating on the lake on a single afternoon.
