IflSO ' ,i ' ' : I ' j. ! i V Dillckll jj j f Ready,l f ' earfyA0 A N 1 VY KRAFT has introduced three new dipt all ready to pick up from the refrigerator cases at vour favorite qrocer and use. The new ones on the list are Onion Soup, Blue Cheese and Dill Pickle all are ready to serve dips and a fine addition to a fine, long line of cheese products sold under the Kraft Foods label. 4i s i ii - f ' I N ST A NT 1 4' long Dips have probably made infor mal serving easier for Ihe hostess than any other one innovation Back in the old days (whenever they were), the hostess carefully washed, cleaned and crisped eel ry stalks and then filled them with mixtures usually involving Philadelphia cream cheese, possi bly deviled ham and maybe sieved hard cooked egg yolks, all com bined with a little mayonnaise cream, vinegar, et cetera. A dash of paprika added a little color. If any of the mix remained, it might have been spread on crack ers to augment the tid-bit tray which was really a relish tray in those days.- doui tne only mine that re mains of that process is the dash of paprika to add color. Ready to serve dips have taken all of the work out of preparing lor that kind of entertaining. And there is such a wide choice that any taste can be satisfied. And the variety of things to dip is endless, it seems. The celery sticks, instead of being stuffed a time-consuming process, as best are now stacked alongside cauli flowerettes and carrot strips for dunking in the dip. A multitude of kinds of crackers are available. There is one more asset to the ready to serve dips. Add salad dressing or . mayonnaise to any leftover dip and use it as a dressing for a tossed salad, slaw or wedge of lettuce. HILLS BROS.
