After his runaway romped through a fence and knocked down some shrubbery and a coach lamp, Fabozzi told this story to police: His car wouldn't start, so he came up from the rear with a truck and gave it a little push. He once told us 'I get a thrill out of killing. 1 love to strangle.' " Suffolk County Dist. Atty. John P. Colialan said Bloeth non chalantly admitted gunning down three persons within eight days in this Long Island area. Bloeth's attorney, Sidney R. Si- ben, said his client had shown no remorse in admitting the killings. The first murder occurred July 31 with the shooting of Islip grocer Hans Hachman, 54. The other victim was counterman Lawrence Kirch er, 53, slain Aug. 5 in a Smith town diner. The holdup killings netted less than $400. Bloeth had been picked up and held without bail on charges of robbing a tavern of $60 July 22 a crime not connected with the slayings. Walsh, who has served time for burglary and an attack on a po liceman, was charged with viola tion of the Sullivan (antiweapons) law after admitting having owned the two guns used in the murders. He was an in mate in the State Training School for Boys in Warwick, N.Y., from .November 1946 to May 1-J47. A. Altrcd Cohen, director of the school, said of Bloeth: "It was im possible to do anything with him. He once told us 1 get a thrill out of killing. I love to strangle.' " Cohen said Rloeth escaped twice from the institution, and before be ing returned, burglarized restau rants. Bloeth's wife and his mother Mrs. Mary Bloeth have said that Bloeth suffered head Injuries from a fall during boyhood and that he frequently blacked out.
