Metier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Metier, 5122 Bryant Street, will give a home coming speech. He is returning from two and one-haK years in missions in New Mexico and Tex as. Metier is the first of four Klam ath Falls boys to participate in the church's project of sending young men to full-time missions for two or three years. They fill posi tions in needy areas of the U.S. and foreign countries. They are the sons of Ronald Phair, 4R50 Shasta Way. Ray Behnke is the other student, and he is stationed in northern Mex ico. Mr. and Mrs. Basil Behnke. 3347 Homedale Road, are his par ents. Metier graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1954 and at tended Brigham Young Univer sity at Provo for two years'before beginning his church assignment. He first W'ent to Albuquerque, then to San Antonio, and from there to Dallas where he served as district president over eight full time missionaries. He also organ ized a branch of the church for all apaiuMi spedMUK pi-upie. The student will arrive home with his sister, Marilyn, who is presently attending the University of Utah summer school.
