City Turns Out For Buried Beer I OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Someone discovered a cache of beer buried in a dumping ground east of this city Thursday. The word got out. Soon cars lined the road and whole families turned to their joyous tasks with picks and shovels. A beer distributing company buried the brew when it found it was of the 6 per cent variety which won't be, legal in Oklahoma until Sept. 1. The 3.2 per cent beer has been sold for years. A heavy rain belted the area but that only speeded the digging. No one would say how much beer was buried but it mujt have tasted pretty gooo. oecause many were seen drinking it on the spot.
