selecting the queen of the Tulelake
Butte Valley Fair to be held Sep
tember 12, 13 and 14, was an

This year the reigning monarch
will be chosen not on the basis
of the number of tickets she sells
but on her qualifications in beauty
which will count 40 per cent; popu
larity, 25 per cent; personality, 20
per cent and talent, 45 per cent,
The results will be announced at
the annual queen's ball on Mon
day, September 7 in the Home
Economics Building at the Fair
grounds. Popularity will
judged by a vote cast by each
person attending the dance, for the
candidate he thinks would serve
as the best queen.
