DAYS OF THE NEW WEST! This odd appearing gun is the product of Ralph Phillips, ! local gunsmith, who turned out the odd looking creation on special order for a fast draw jfan. The gun, a cut down Model 94 Winchester, is a faithful copy of the hogleg used by ' Stave McQueen in the television show Wanted, Dead Or Alive. The gun, designed for , firing blanks in fast draw competition, features a shortened barrel, a stubbed off stock and a greatly enlarged and all handmade finger lever. The weapon hangs in a special i holster which allows it to be fired by merely tipping it up and blasting away. The holster can be seen in the foreground. According to Phillips the fast draw craze is still gaining ; frnd no end in sight yet. I Oregon Weather !By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS i 24 hours to 4:30 a.m. Monday ( Max. Min. Prep.
