From Portland Sally Ravizza, Portland, is visiting or a month with friends in the Chiloquin area. Visit Friends Marilyn and Den nis Echlin, who lived in Chiloquin (or three years but have been away the past six years, are vis iting friends there. They will re turn this week to their home in Portland. 1 ; Second Son Mr. and Mrs. Wil ltam Norval are parents of their second son, Douglas David, born at Klamath Valley Hospital, June 24. The Norval's other son, Jeffry, is 19 months old. Grandparents re Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Norval, Chiloquin, and the Rev. and Mrs, David Schneider, Gulfilo, Costa Rica. , - . Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dick of Emmett, Idaho, spent a (ew days wer the Fourth of July weekend with Dick's brother, Thomas, and his wife, Kathryn in Hew Pure Creek. . En Route to 'Denver are Mr. and Mrs. Max Frinl: and daugh ters of Grants Pass. They spenf the Fourth of , July with Mrs. Frink's sister, Mrs. Avis Gentry and her family of New Pine Creek. Return Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cornmesser, Pleasanlon, have re turned home after visiting Mrs. Cornmesser's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Rugg, in New Pine Creek over the Fourth of July weekend. On Leave Jay Bruno of New Jersey visited at the Jack Leahy residence in New Pine Creek over the Fourth of July Weekend. He was on leave from his service base in Oakland. He was accom panied by Leahy's nieces, Mar garet and Joan Brennan of Oak land. Moved Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mul vey of New Pine Creek and their children spent the Fourth of July weekend moving to Klamath Falls; Mulvey will work at the Johns Manvllle plant near Chiloquin. Recovering Mrs. Cora Cook' of New Pine Creek received word Tuesday that her sister-in-law, Mrs. Hilton St. Clair of Grants Pass is recovering from lung sur f ery. On Tour Mr. and Mrs. Ivan C. Miller of Kelso visited last week with Mrs. Hallie Cook, New Pine Creek. They .also visited Luther and Ester Miller and other rela tives in Lakeyiew. Leaves Mrs. Alpha Hartzog of New Pine Creek left Sunday with her son Glen McGrew and her grandson, John McGrew, to visit McGrew and his family at their fcome in Prineville. McGrew visit ed his sister, Mrs. Buna Faris and her family while in New Pine Creek. : Guests at the home ot Mrs. Olyn Aldridge and family at New Pine Creek last week were Mr. and Mrs. George D. Snell and family of Sacramento. Snell is the brother of Mrs. Aldridge. Picnic will be held by the 4-H Leaders Association Sunday, July 12, Malin Park at 2 p.m. Bring food for a potluck lunch and table aervice for the family. Punch and ice cream will be furnished. In Washington Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kelleher of Tulelake left July 4 for Seattle where they will visit Mrs. Kelleher's brother, Roger Walsh. Coastal Trip Mr. and Mrs. Roy Owner and Mrs. Grav of Tulelake left Wednesday for Bend where Mrs. Gray will visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Covner will be joined by three of Coyner's brothers and i wives for a deep sea fishing trip to Winchester Bay. Spending Summer Joan Peters ef Riverside is spending the sum mer at the home of her grand mother, Mrs. Cora Young, Tule lake. Weekend visitors at the Young home were her son and family, the Bob Youngs of Med Jord. Visiting Here Mrs. Erwin C. Bahlburg and children of Newport are visting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bent ley of Tulelake. Returned Home After spending the Fourth of July weekend in Bend, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Brooks and son, Raymond, returned to their home in Montague. Camping Mr. and Mrs.'Orlo Da vis of Little Shasta, their daugh ter, Betty Hodgcn, and Dallas Cook, small son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Cook, spent the holiday week end camping on Elk Creek. Returned Mrs. Henrietta Ter williger of Little Shasta and Mrs. Annabelle Burket, Montague, spent th holiday weekend in Susanville. Ta Mcdford Mrs. Charlotte Da vit, Mrs. Ruby Cook and young son, Dallas, spent last Monday in Medford. Housrguests Mr. and Mrs. Stu art Higgs of Montague have as houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johns, North Hollywood, who are the parents of Mrs. Higgs. Greenbank family, Galen Lesh family and Ed Baley family,' all of Tulelake, spent the weekend; at the Ed Osborne home. j Grants Pass Visitors Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Wynn and family spent the weekend at the home of his brother and family, the Sam Wynn's of Newell. Washington Trip The Marv Jer zykowski family of Tulelake are spending a week's vacation in Washington. Visting Here Mr. and Mrs. Jack Burkard and daughter of San Francisco are visiting at the New ell home of Mr.1 and Mrs. Fred Simonds. 'Catholic Daughters are asked to attend the Holy Rosary for Hugh D. O'Connor Thursday, July 9, at 8 p.m. at O'Hair's Memorial Chap el. Requiem Mass will be offered Friday, July 10, at 9:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church. Weekend Trip The Jim Stearns family of Newell spent the week end at LaPme. Visiting Relatives Mrs. Inga Hobbs of Newell left recently for Prineville and The Dalles where she will visit friends and relatives, Platina Trippers Mr. and Mrs. Leland Evans, Fort Jones, recent ly returned from a trip to Plalina, where they visited the R; I. Fishing The Robert Becson family of Fort Jones went on a fishing trip in the Salmon Moun tains last weekend. - Campers Mr. and Mrs. Rick Findell and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Davis of Fort Jones camped near Sawyer's Bar over the Fourth of July holiday. Holiday Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Smith and their two daughters left Fort Jones last Friday to spend the holiday weekend at their sum mer cabin on Kidder Creek. Hospitalized Felix Kunz, well known Fort Jones resident, has been in the Yreka Hospital for several weeks. Mrs. Olive Fraley and son, Jer ry of Dairy, and Mrs. Melva Mat thews, Burbank, Califorornia, left last Saturday for a month's vaca tion, driving to Seattle, and from there taking a plane to Anchor age, Alaska. Proud Parents Mr. and Mrs Richard D. Wright are the parents of a boy, born July 2, at Klamath Valley Hospital. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Martyr, Dairy and Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Wright of the state of Washington. Mrs. Beulah Crabtree, Dairy, is the ba by's great-grandmother. Returning with Mr. and Mrs Arthur Vieira and daughters of Glencoe, California, Mrs. Rosa Vi eira, Arthur's mother, will spend some time there. The younger Vi eiras had spent last holiday week end in Dairy. v Yreka Visitors for the holiday weekend in Dairy were Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Brown and family and Jim Quigley, visiting Brown'! daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Tofell and family. Kar en Tofell went to Yreka with her grandmother to spend a week. Visit Mother Mr. and Mrs. By ron Welch, Lakeview, visited last Sunday with their mother, Mrs, Sarah Michael, Dairy.
