Wednesday. .June 24. 1959 PAGE 1 B Bank Chiefs Hold Meeting The city of Klamath Falls be came headquarters for First Na tional Bank of Oregon Tuesday as executive officers and directors of the statewide banking institution lathered for a board meeting and round of official visits. C. B. Stephenson, president, and E. B. Mac Naughton, chairman of the board, headed the group which flew in from Portland this morn ing on two chartered West Coast Airline planes. The delegation will visit the surrounding agricultural district, be guests for lunch at the Tulana Farms Worden ranch and then call at the three First National branches in this area down town. South Sixth Street and at Merrill. The board will hold its regular monthly business meeting at 3 p.m. at the Winema Hotel and host a dinner party at the Willard Hotel in the evening. The visiting delegation of busi Viesj leaders are scheduled to de part for Portland from the Klam ath Falls airport at S a.m. Wednesday. Malin Chamber Backs OTI Fund MAUN The Malin Chamber ef Commerce has placed recepta cles in all places of business in Malin for contributions to the OTI building fund. This method of col lecting funds is being used since there is no bank in Malin, ac cording to James Conroy, chamber president. Much interest in Oregon Techni cal Institute has been shown by the Malin community as 17 stu dents from this area have attend ed OTI since it started.
