Mrs. McFarlane and a number ef her officers plan to visit the annual Rebekah Assembly of Ne vada affairs in Reno on June 14. 16 and 17 en route to Cedarville. The assembly president is a member of Alhambra Rebekah Lodge No. 292 of Martinez where she and her husband. John, and daughter. Johlene, live. Mrs. McFarlane is well known to the members of District 49. which comprises the lodges of Adin. Al turas, Bieber and Cedarville. aince she has visited the district on several occassions. On her most recent visit last August as warden of the California Assembly (he conferred the assembly degree on 21 past noble grands of Rebekah lodges and -seven past grands of subordinate lodges of the lnde- fiendent Order of Odd Fellows dur ng a special session of the Re bekah Assembly of California John McFarlane received the as- aembly degree at that time. Mrs. Lucille Sugden, member of Cedar lodge, is an appointive com mittee member of Mrs. Mcrar-lane's. Assisting her with the pro gram were Ruth Carr and Marie Reis. Rowena McDonald and Margaret Devtes ef the Ewauna Toastmistrets Club gave talks on the Klamath County coin and the Oregon Centennial. SANDRA HAAS wis crowned worthy adviser ef the Chiloquin Assembly of Rainbow for Girls at instal lation ceremonies on May 23. Rainbow Girls Install Officers CHILOQUIN - Oriental Gardens was the theme for the installation of officers at the Chiloquin Assem bly of Rainbow for Girls Saturday evening. May 23. at the Masonic Hall. Sandra Haas was crowned worthy adviser by Monte Dehling er. master councilor, who with sword hearing sextet all from Lost River Chapter Order of DeMolay conducted the ceremony. Sandra Haas is a junior, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Haas, Modoc Point. She is CHS student body secretary, a position she will retain next year. S h was queen of hearts in 1958. presi dent of the pep club, member of the drill team, or the paper staff, glee club, and the speech group. She replaces Claudia Heglund as worthy adviser.
