Vacation Church School for the Peace Memorial Presbyterian thurch will be held m August in stead of June, as previously announced. Away Word has been received that Mr. and Mrs. Jess Brown of Henley, are in Loma Linda. Cali fornia, where .Mr. Brown is in the Loma Linda Hospital following major surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Brown will remain there .for an indefinite time. Dig The Klamath -County Arti frctor's Club will have a dig for members only at the O'Connor Ranch on the Lower Klamath Lake Road Saturday and Sunday. June 13-14. A regular meeting is sched uled for Monday, June 15. at the Klamath County Library when ar tifacts found will be discussed and displayed. Refreshments will be served. Car Wash at the Mt. Laki Church Saturday, June 13. from 10 a.m. to S p.m. The price will be J! 50 per car. Cars will be picked up and delivered by call ing TU 2-1210. Proceeds will help send some of the group to summer camp. A Centennial open house with everyone invited is planned by the Midland Grange for Wednesday. June 17, at the grange hall. Fes tivities will start with a 6 30 pot luck supper followed by oldtime entertainment, a community sing, square dancing, games, fiddling music.
