CARAMEL CRISPS 1 cup it ounces i caramel chips 14 cup butter Dah of salt 1 cups confectioners' sugar cup evaporated milk 1 teaspoon vanilla S cup chopped pecans or wal nuts Melt caramel chips and butter In a saurepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add salt. Then add sugar alternately with milk, blending well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix welL Chill in refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes. Then form into I cylinder and roll in chopped nuts. Keep in refrigerator until ready to slice and serve. Makes about 1 dozen.
