grand jury in November.
His first reaction, Dale said, was
that Coleman was unwise in de

the regular session could give the
accused a chance to learn who
they are and allow them to leave
the stale.
Dale made the comments in call-

who admitted, fatally stabbing a
white youth during a fight.
Ernest Smith, 16. surrendered to
police Saturday night shortly after
Tommy Donnell, 17. died of a stab
wound near the heart.
Police said Ihe two got into an
argument and began fighting when
Smith and a Negro companion
met Donnell and two other white
youths 'in front of a drive-in res
taurant.
The two fought wilh their fists
for about five minutes police said.
until 'Donnell fell and Smith and
his conpanion fled.

fight. Smith had two superficial
culs on his back when he sur

They'll discuss everything from
the quality of television to the
effects of smog, from cheesecake
to better citizenship, and the use
of plastic bags which have recent
ly caused a number of children's
deaths across the United States.
One motion to be otfercd before
the convention will be aimed at
banning the bags or enforcing a
more stringent law on their use.
Contrary to what some men
might think, the women are going
to do more than talk. They 11 lis
