TWENTY FIVE YEARS of marriage were celebrated May 26 by Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Eberlein. They are pictured with the beautifully decorated cake which was served to friends
and relatives at the home of Harold Eberlein on Wiard Street. Mrs. Eberlein, the former
Vernice Zetiman, it wearing the gown in which she was married May 26, (934, at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Zetiman. Their married life has been spent in
this city where ha is co-owner of Specialized Service. The couple has two sons, Alan, a
unior at Oregon State College, and Naal, who will be graduated jn June from KUHS.

Barbara Joan Swanson became
the bride of Victor Lasater of
Lakeview on Saturday. May 23. in
a ceremony pprformed by the Rev.
Robert C. Groves at the First
Presbyterian Church at 8 o'clock
in the evening.
Barbara Joan is the only daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Swan
son of 1951 Earle Street.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. She wore a lovely
gown of white silk embroidered
tulle over antique taffeta and
ruffles of tulle. The fitted bodice
with Sabrina neckline was outlined
m embroidered scallops. Scallops
also finished the tiny, draped cap
sleeves and formed the panel trim
of the skirt front, enhancing the
graduated 'tiers .of the chapel
length train. A fingertip veil of
silk illusion was held in place by
a half-crown, outlined in seed
pearls. Dainty mitts of embroi
dered tulle completed the picture.
She carried a cascade of stepha
notis centered with a single white
orchid. For tradition the wore a
blue garter and a penny in her
slipper given to her by her broth
er. Richard Swanson. Her veil was
borrowed from Mrs. Richard
Swanson, her !ster-in-law. An
heirloom filigree bracelet which
had belonged to her maternal
grandmother was her only jewel
ry. Joanne Forbes, a college friend
from Albany, Oregon, was maid
of honor. A former roommate,
Adell McMillan of Eugene, was
bridesmaid. They wore identical
bouffant walti length frocks of
canary yellow chiffon. The cowl
neckline in front formed a low V
in back and a draped sash of the
same chiffon fell to the hemline.
Tbftir tiny hats were of matching
chiffon fashioned in graduated pet
al design, centered with medalions
of seed pearls. They wore match
ing slippers and carried fan
shaped bouquets of yellow Mar
guerite daisies.
The wedding party came down
the aisle, laid with a white run
ner, to the altar where a basket of
white chrysanthemums and white
gladioli had been placed below the
cross. Plaques of the same flow
ers were attached to four cande
labra holding while tapers which
lighted the chancel for the double
ung ceremony.
Valerie and Steven Zamsky,
daughter and son of Mr. and Mrs.
Adolph Zamsky, were candlelight
ers. Valerie's dress was of canary
yellow organdy with white fig
ure, fashioned with a wide Bertha
collar and a scalloped overskirt
over yellow taffeta. She wore a
half-crown headpiece and carried
a miniature of the bridesmaid's
bouquet.
Norman Lasater of Lakeview
was best man for his brother.
Guests were seated by Richard
Swanson of Eugene, brother of the
bride, Robert Beach and Forrest
Alter, both of Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Albert Herringhsaw at the
organ played the wedding march
es. She was the accompanist also
for the soloist, Mrs. Walter C.
Badorek, who sang "Panis An
gelicus" and "The Lord s Pray
er." ,
Mrs. Swanson chose for her
daughter's wedding a gown of
heavenly blue embroidered lace
over taffeta with a fitted cum
merbund of matching satin. With
it she wore hat and gloves In a
matching color and clear plastic
sandals.
Mrs. Winteri selected for the
occasion a Dior blue costume with
matching shoes, hat and white
gloves. Both motiiera wore a pink
cymbidium orchid.
The young couple greeted wed
ding guests at a reception In the

Andrew Loney Jr. at numerout social affairs being given in their honor. Ha hat been dl
rector of music education in Klamath Falls public schools for 17 years during which time
they have been active in musical and civic groups of the city. Mr. Loney hat accepted
a professorship in the school of music at the University of Portland, Although they wiH
miss their many friends here, their Portland move will bring them a bit closer to their
daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Sutherland and Dana, Monica and Patricia,

haded daisies decorated the perish hell and refreshment
