WINDOW
WASHING
What's the most dreaded chore
in keeping house? Ask 100 women
and chances are that nearly 75 of
them will name window-washing as
me one task they hate most of all.
That makes the news of an amaz-
ngly easy way to wash windows
doubly welcome. This new method
nvolves the use of a gleam-up
team now being displayed in most
markets, and featuring a clear pink
window spray and lint-free paper
towels, just look tor Clearex and
Zee on your grocer's shelves.
The procedure is simple and fast
and easy as A-B-C. Just spray the
clear pink liquid (which comes in
bottle with its own sprayer top)
on any glass surface. It goes to
work immediately to loosen and
dissolve dirt and grease right be
fore your eyes. Spread the clean
er with a lint-free paper towel, a
towel developed especially to pre
vent shredding. Then polish with a
second paper towel.
You 11 notice that you need only
one application of the window
spray and you'll be happy to learn
that this particular spray will not
harm painted surfaces. .
The paper towels leave not a sign
of a streak, not a hint of lint to
mar your view. Zee paper towels
are a Crown Zellerbach product.
Best of all, you'll be almost as
sparkling as your windows when
you finish!
FILBERT CAKE
In the wake of that fabulous
cake made with German's Sweet
Chocolate, have come other de
lectable cakes, using the same
type of chocolate . . . heirloom
recipes that have stood the test
of time and the changing tastes
of generations.
One such wonderful cake we have
for you today. It s moist and rich
with a delicate chocolate flavor.
Filberts, finely chopped, add a
delightful crunchiness. Brown su
gar, butter and flaked coconut are
spread on the finished cake which
is then placed under the broiler
just long enough for the coconut
to toast a delicate brown, the su
gar and butter to bubble delic-
lously. ,
bo, for one of those special
Spring parties that celebrate an

uation, or just a coming together
of friends, we highly recommend
