This successful color packaging
i program was sold by leading paper
j jobbers such as the Zellerbach Pa
per Company and Blake, Moffitt &
Towne. Four years ago, they re-
j quested a gift wrap program, since
nearly all of the gift wrap then

Pak-Well has developed a pro

acceptance. '
I Today, Pak-Well's color packag-
Ing and gift wrap are sold by 1350
; paper distributor salesmen in 13
Western states, including Alaska
and Hawaii.

gift wrap designs, a new garment

and the new lunch bags in color

pany is an Oregon concern.
Starting in 1946 with modest
' equipment and one salesman, Pak
Well purchased colored krafts from
Pacific Northwest paper mills and
' converted them into notion and

i Great emphasis on the use of

that time led to the use of color

Baby Food News
Soon baby may be fed from
dainty, rainbow-hued aluminum
foil packets. The 2-inch square
packets, shaped like miniature pit
lows, were designed by Reynolds
Metals Company researchers to
hold frozen, cooked baby foods in
portions just large enough for
baby to eat at one meal.
They are expected to make baby
foods more nutritious and flavor
ful, since both freezing and foil
packaging improve vitamin and
flavor retention. Everything from
strained fruits and vegetables to
msats and puddings may be con
tained in the small foil packs.
They will be fun for baby, since
they are brightly colored . . . and
very convenient for Mother to use
. . . just drop in boiling water
for 4 minutes, cut open the top
and Mother may spoon the food
right from the colorful container.
It baby is unusually hungry, an
other package may be quickly
heated.
It will be possible to feed baby
two or three different foods.
each from its own little colored
container, instead of opening sev
eral 'jars and taking a little from
each. There are no pans to wasb,
no jara to fish out of boiling
water and no half-empty jars to
put into the refrigerator.
Not yet available, but a sure bet
for the -future, baby foods in
aluminum foil packets will help
to reduce Mother's grocery bill and
at nome, make it easy for her to
store a great variety in a small
amount of space in her freezer.

so now's the time to think of ways
of using this wonderful fruit. And
though many of us think of straw
berries exclusively in line with
