The Portland recruit ins station issued word that men who reenlist a ithin :hi dtyi alter discharge will reap a BMNftM honus and contin uous service with no reduction in pay. They arc allowed to collect the bonus and an adance travel al lowance and take up to 30 days' bave in advance of reporting for duty. The recruiting station reports that it will work hard to set ap pointments to schools chosen lor attendance by reenlistees. Men who have served six years !;ave completed one fourth nl the span necessary for retirement al full pension. The average pension plan yields when it matures, according lo recruiting office statements. Bigby has completed the initial phase of Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs Claude D. Bigby of 1611 Dayton Street, Klamath Falls. Bigby has been selected to at tend a technical training school lor aircraft and missile maintenance at Chanute Air Force Base, Illi nois. He is a graduate of Flour Bluff High School. RANCH SOLD NEW PINF CREEK - The 75 acre Kloer Ranch in the Willow Ranch vicinity was sold last Satur day to the Patterson Brothers of Sunnyvale. California. The new owners plan to develop wheat gras ses for birds and wild game on their new place and eventually hope to make it a hunting lodge. Classes Set By Art Group The Klamath Art Association will j sponsor an eight week series of children's art classes, scheduled to I basin Saturday. Anril 4. in the as sociation center at the Mountain View housing project. Lessons will be held each Satur day morning through May 2;i from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Classes are open to children from 6 through 12 years. Fee for the series in cluding all materials will be $14. The program will he outlined by Lois Takach. art instructor in Klamath Union High School. Les sons will include adventures in col or, line, rhythm, texture, shape and space relationships. Instructors will he Miss Takach and Mrs. Carol Pinska. who in structed classes in 11).8. Miss Ta kach is a graduate of Colorado State College. Greeley, Colorado, where she received her degree In art. Mrs. Pinska received her art training at Macalesler College, St. Paul and the University oft Min nesota. At conclusion of the spring les sons an exhibit of the work com pleted by the students will be shown on the last day of the ses sion. May 23. Classes will be limited. Recruits Sought By Air Force The Air Force is looking for pi lots and navigator recruits be tween the ages of 19 and 26' years old. Recruits must be single and graduates of high school. They must present diplomas from ac credited high schools when they apply for Aviation Cadet training.
