Jan ice and Elaine served as pages in the House of Representative! Tuesday, as guests of their grand parents. Rep. and Mrs. Thoma! R McClellan. while Mrs. Foster nd Elizabeth, s. observed the leg islative proceedings from In- gal lery. The girls attend school at Pais ley where Terry Ann is in the eighth grade; Janice, seventh; and Elaine, the fourth, which her moth er leaches. The Fosters live on a r:nch II miles north of Paisley and drive to school each day. The hostesses (or the meeting were Mrs. Hal Shidler, Mrs. Jack Bothwell and Mrs. Wayne Newton. Mrs. Phyllis Christian, director of district F for the Oregon Lions Auxiliary was a guest. This was Mrs. Christian's official visit to the Klamath Falls club. Mrs. James Misfeldt and Mrs. Harvey IVnham of the Toketee Lions Aux iliary were also guests. Two KVHS students, members ef Ruby Alloway's advanced speech class, presented the pro gram. Karen ,Mode, who was the winner for Oregon in the "1 Speak for Democracy Contest," gave her original speech. She received a trip to Washington D.C. recently where she competed with other finalists. Jim Mills presented a very en tertaining humorous apeech. The next meeting will he April 13 at the home of Mrs. N S. Hepburn.
