Klamath Falls to live. Mr. and
Mrs. Dick Nelson of Malin have
moved to the Loveness ranch to
live.

ents of their third daughter. Deb-
ra, who was born January 11. Cliff
is a former Langell Valley resi
dent and Debra is the niece of the
Owen Pcpples of Bonanza,
Visiting his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lrnest Givan of Bonanza
for a few days was Gordon Givan
of Santa Barbara. Over the week
end he moved his sister-in-law,
Mrs. Doris Givan, and children.
Jennifer and Jay, to Eugene where
they will make their home.
To Pendleton Mr. and Mrs
Doug Williams of Bonanza spent
several days in Pendleton.
First Child-Mrs. Walter Dillon
has returned to her home in Bo
nanza after two weeks at Crescent
City with her son - in - law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Cross
write, who are the parents of
their first child, Terry Joseph, born
New iears Day. Little Terry was
the first New Year's baby in that
city.

Providence Hospital, Oakland. Cal
ifornia, last Friday morning. He
will convalesce at the home of a
sister in Orange County.
Patient Dan Davis of Alturas
is a patient at Woodland Clinic.
Davis is a retired employe of the
Modoc National Forest.

Jeff Swinney, New Pine Creek, is
in Pleasant Hill, California, for a
four-day series of religious de
bates. His opponent will represent
the Church of Christ and he, the
Baptists.
New Pine Creek Jim Mulvey
of New Pine Creek received wed
last week of the accidental death
of his nephew, Richard Mulvev,
16, near Carnngton, North Dakota
The boy was reported to have had
a tractor fall upon him. Richard's
father, Jim's brother, was also ac
cidentally killed in North Dakota
about two years ago.
Returned Eric Rose returned
to New Pine Creek from a visit
to Lewiston, Idaho.
Telephone Meeting There will
be a telephone meeting at 7 o'clock
Saturday evening, January 17, it
the Eastside Grange Hall. J. T

telephone installations. A regular
grange meeting will follow the tele

Police said Thursday night the
photouraphs showed Mrs. Ruth
Ann Montague, 32, was wearing
gold-colored, dome shaped ear
rings later found in the possession
of her student laboratory techni
cian husband. The earrings were
not on her body when it was
found Jan. ft. the day after the
party.
Mrs. Moiitaguue had been stran
gled, sexually molested, and her
mutilated body abandoned in a car
