Marshall In NY Fire Given Honor PAGE 12 A m, -- :-;-r-v sx3?x jy r THE 25TH ANNUAL stockholders' meeting of the Klamath Production Credit Association, to be held January 17 at the Klamath Auditorium, is expected to bring a larger mem bership than the 1958 meeting held last January 18. Above is the near-capacity crowd of over 400 present for the smorgasbord lunch and business meeting last 'year. Similar meetings have been held annually since the association was organized in 1934. Prep arations are being made to serve more than 500 guests at this year's event. ROCHESTER, N. Y. (AP)-Six persons, including a family ot four, died early today In a fire that swept a three-story building in the city's northside. Five others escaped. The flames trapped two families of four in a third-floor apartment. Only a man and a small girl es caped. A family of three in a second- floor apartment fled down a stair way. A grocery store was on the ground floor. The dead were Mrs. Joyce Mc Donald, about 21, and her son, Ste ven, 5 months, occupants of the third-floor apartment; and their visitors, Ralph Benedict, about 25, of Rochester; his wile, Mary 21; and their two children, Rosemary, 2, and Annette, 5 months. Mrs. McDonald's husband James, 23, carried his daughter to safety. He was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. The girl was taken to her grandparents' home. Fire Lt. Joseph Nalore said the fire was believed to have started on the third floor. The former Army chief of staff, secretary of state and secretary of defense, who has spent much nf his time abed in recent months, was in good spirits.
