Gannon U xclianaed 3n oCaL MONTAGUE The Hacienda Mo tel in Fresno was the setting for a wedding reception held in honor of recent ncwlyweds, Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Robert Kallman. Dr. Kali man and his bride, the former Dor othy Diane Dunphy were married in the home of the bridegroom's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Carl Kall man. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. E. N. Cook, former resident of Little Shasta, now residing in Colusa, and the granddaughter of Prank Dunphy of Vrcka. She is a niece of Mrs, Boyd Pitman, Yre ka, and Kobert Martin of Mon tague. The couple repealed their nup tial vows in an afternoon cere mony performed by Rabbi David L. Greenberg of the Temple Beth Israel, wifh Cantor Michael Lor ing assisting, witnessed by mem bers of their families. For her wedding, the bride was gowned in while Chantilly lace, styled with a waltz-length skirt. She wore a lace tiara, and car- TIIIRD BIRTHDAY MAL1.N Honored on the event of his third birthday was Connie Mc Auliffe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed die McAuliffe of Malin, when his mother invited a group of young friends to a party on December 8. The little guests enjoyed an aft ernoon of play with the tradition al birthday cake and ice cream and opening of gifts. Attending were Steven, Michael, David and Jimmy Wallis, Vicky and Carla Haskins, Naomi and Eddie Kess- Icr, Janice and Mary McAuliffe, and Lori and Susa'.i Unruh. Spe cial guests were Connie's grand mothers, Mrs. A. D. Salyers and Mrs. Dan McAuliffe, both of Ma ried a cascade arrangement of white orchids and roses. Mrs. Vernon Stanley, as ma tron of honor, wore a frock of pow der blue organza, and carried a bouquet of white roses and pow der blue tulle. The bridegroom's brother. Allan Jay Kallman. served as best man. The new Mrs. Kallman, attended school in Colusa, and is a gradu ate of Mt. Zion Hospital and Med ical Center School of Nursing in San Francisco. She is i registered nurse in the Garden Grove Hos pital in Orange County. Serving as an interne in the Or ange County General Hospital, Dr. Kallman holds a master's degree in optometry from the University of California in Berkeley, and a doctor of medicine degree from the UC School of Medicine in San Francisco. ms Your Man Large Vy fff or Be He Small... y (!! Alfred Russell at 4 o'clock on the afternoon of December 6 in the First Baptist Church. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of import ed Chantilly lace and nylon tulle underscored with satin and fash ioned with a Sabrina neckline and long tapered sleeves. The bouffant waltz length skirt featured layers of tulle and a design of lace in set in star points with an over skirt of tulle. A half hat of lace and pearls held the chapel length veil of illusion. She carried a cor sage of roses tied with white rib bon streamers. , Sharon Shannon was maid of honor for her sister. Her gown was a yellow slicalh with over- skirt of net. She carried a nose- eav of yellow carnations. The olh er attendants, Mrs. Loy Welch and Mrs. Floyd Sweeney, wore identi cal orchid sheath dresses with overskirts of net and headbands of orchid velvet, , They carried or chid nosegays. , The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Welch, was attended by his brother, Edmon Welch. An other brother, Loy Welch, and Frank Houston were ushers. Mrs. Ed Sundct played the wed ding music and accompanied the soloist, Leslie Pardue. A navy blue empire sheath with navy and white accessories, and a corsage of pink rosebuds was worn by the bride's mother. Mrs. Welch chose a royal blue chemise with red accessories and a red rosebud corsage. At the reception which followed in the church parlor the cake was cut by Mrs. Tom McCoy, aunt of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Byran Shannon, aunt of the bride. -Punch was served by Mrs. Ed Welch and Mrs. Boh Lamon floured cof fee. Mrs. Diana Millsap was at the gift table. The guest book was passed by Karen Paulson. For her traveling costume the bride chose a fur trimmed royal blue sheath with black accessories, and the roses from her bridal bouquet. emeu Following a honeymoon spent in Portland, the couple are at home in Lakevicw where he is employed by the American Forest Products Corporation.
