Unite Couple
SILVER LAKE Beverly Iverson
became the bride of Virgil Little
in a double rins ceremonv Octo
ber 19 at the Church of Christ in
Bend, with the Rev. Roy Hol
land officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bannister
of Paisley, uncle and aunt of the
bride were the attendants.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Lawrence Iverson of Silver
Lake, wore a brown suit comple
mented by white accessories and
a corsage of rosebuds.
Following the 2 o'clock cere
mony a reception was held at the
home of the bride's uncle and
aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Iver
son. Mrs. Iverson served the wed
ding cake and Mrs. Maurice
Iverson was in charge of gifts.

Lawrence Iverson and Helen
Iverson, parents and sister of the
bride from Silver Lake; I. J. Iver
son, grandfather of the bride, and

ceremonies at the Dunsmuir Ma
sonic Temple on the evening of
November 7.

thy patron for a second term. Oth

Beaughan, treasurer; Doris Mor

Selma Porter served as install
ing officer. She was assisted by
Jin Brown, installing chaplain:
Jlina Kimble, installing marshal,
and Jessie Herrin, installing or
ganist. -Wild roses, emblem of the year,
were predominate in the decora
tions for the occasion. "Harmony"
was emblazoned in a pink and
green banner across the west bal
cony. Mrs. Dews was presented with
a bouquet of pink gladioli. Star
points carried arm bouquets of
appropriate colors.

YREKA The Halloween motif
predominated in both the lodge
and banquet rooms for the fifth
annual hardtimes party of the
Knights of Pythias and Pythian
fcistcrs held at the Odd Fellows
Hall on October 29.
One hundred guests enjoyed ap
propriate games and the special
attractions of a fortune telling
booth and spook room. Music
for dancing was furnished by Mrs.
Ruth Rider and her orchestra.
Committee members included

HOUSEWARMING
FALL RIVER MILLS-One hun
dred guests attended the house
warming in the home of Dr. and
Mrs. Paul Bulpitt on Saturday
nignt, November 1. A smorgasbord
supper was served by the hostess
es, Mrs. John Bartle and Mrs
William Ashburn. The couple was
presented a money tree as a gift
from the group. The Bulpitts have
collected many antiques and out
standing oil paintings which they
have used in the decorative
scneme of their home.

fall fruit which decorated the ta

Snyder. Mary Bnthwell, Gladys
Tennant, Grace McMullen, Marv
Sayer and Lynn Martin.

ters of the Nile, at the ceremon
ial in September.

Frederick Seitz. She was accom
panied by Linda at the piano.
December 3 is the date of the
club Christmas meeting with Lo
rene McCollum in charge. The
freshman chorus of Klamath Un
ion High School with some 60 voic
es under the direction of Steve
Stone will entertain.
Karen Young is in charge of the
club Christmas box which will be
sent to the children in the Port
land Shrincrs Hospital. She asks
that each gift'b r o u g h t to the

Dancing Club Starts Season
WEED Autumn was the theme
for the opening event of the 1058-59
season of the Weed Dancing Club
held recently at St. Michaels Hall.
An arrangement of bronze and
yellow chrysanthemums flanked
by candelabras with yellow and
bronze candles centered the tables
for the buffet supper.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Layton were
chairmen of the party and were
assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Evans. Mr. and Mrs. James Kirk.
Mr. and Mrs. George Maltos and
Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Nicholas.
Guests for the evening were Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Fish, Mr. and
Mrs. Pete Pcllegrino. Mr. and
