Demo Asked To Discuss Woes With Mexico Chief WASHINGTON Wl - The Eisen hower administration has called on Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson (D-Tcx) for another bipartisan task discus sion of continental problems with JAe incoming president of Mexico. Johnson, the Senate's Democrat ic leader, is expected to go to Mexico City some time this month to confer personally with President-elect Adolfo Lopez Matcos. In Congress and the State De partment the invitation to Johnson to undertake the personal diplo matic mission to Mexico was re garded as an indication the ad ministration wants to work close ly with the party leader in shor ing up Latin American relations. It was the second bipartisan as signment Johnson has been asked to undertake this week. Previously Secretary of State Dulles had an nounced Johnson had agreed to speak in the United Nations in be half of the American resolution for the peaceful uses of outer space. Although Johnson heads the op position party in the Senate, he has worked closely with the Re publican administration at times especially on problems involving foreign policy. He said in a speech last week the increased Democrat ic majorities in the new Congress will meet President Eisenhower at , least half way. Johnson is generally expected to retain his"iost as Democratic lead er when the Senate meets in Jan uary. Sen. William Proxmire (D- Wis); one of an increased num ber or liberal Democrats m tne new Senate, said yesterday he has found no indications of dissatisfac tion with Johnson's course. One senator-elect reported Tues day he understood Johnson had called the 13 Democrats, newly elected to the Senate to meet with him at his Texas ranch next month. Community Council The first annual meeting of the Klamath County Community Council will tike place Thursday in the Camas Room of the Winen-a Hotel, begin ning at 6:30 p.m.. The meeting will he largely devoted to the submis- fion of committee reports, with no elections scheduled. Square Dancing for children, sponsored by the recreation de partment at the city library, will not be held tonight. November 12. Doyle Poole. 23. son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Y. Poole, Klamath Falls, is an air craft electrician repairman with the Army in Augsburg. Germany. A graduate of Roseburg High School, Poole entered the Army in January and went overseas in April.
