Pews on the center aisle were marked with white satin bows and the touches of salmon pink and yellow were featured in the ensembles worn by the bridal attendants. Julie, daughter of well known local residents, Mr. and Mrs. El mer M. Harnden, 8.16 Pacific Ter race, was given in marriage by her father. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard. J. Evans, Rocky Ford, Colorado. The Rev. Robert Groves officiat ed at the 4 p.m. ceremony in the presence of some 200 guests. For her summer wedding, Julie wore a gown of airy white import ed organdy. The long torso bodice of fine tucks was made with a bateau neckline and cap sleeves. The light, extremely bouffant floor length skirt was encircled with rows of frosty embroidery. A clip crown of pearl and iri descent sequin-trimmed organdy held her fingertip veil or illusion, and she carried a cascade bou quet of while roses and stephano tis. The maid of honor, Sharon Hay ford of Klamath Fails; and brides maids, Jennelle Tipton, Casper, Wyoming; and Sue Evans, sister of the bridegroom from Rocky Ford, wore identical sheath dresses of white eyelet, embroidered in a deli cate shade of salmon pink. Match ing pink cummerbund sashes tied in flat back bows with long float ing streamers. Their while headbands were made with crown veils and bou quets were arrangements of petite yellow roses, stephanotis and spid er chrysanthemums. Two exquisite handkerchiefs were Ihe "new" and the "old" in Julie's trousseau. The new was of fine linen edged with delicate hand crocheted lace, made and given to her by Addie May (Mrs. Jack) Nixon. The old was an heirloom handkerchief of handmade lace and had belonged to Julie's maternal great-grandmother. DENNIS FOUSHEE TODD ... the former Nancy Elizabeth Warren, met her future husband at the altar of St. Paul's Episcopal Church on August 24 to exchange marriage vows. Nancy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lane Warren, Dennis the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Todd. The ceremony united members of two well known Klamath Falls families. Medallions of the lace outlined the sabrinu neckline. The very full tulle skirt, frosted bows, marked the pews, carryind with matching bow patterns of the lace, swept into a chapel train be neath a double hustle bow of tulle that accented back interest. Her double veil of silk illusion, reach ing to her finger tips was held by an open circulct of pearl-tinted or ange blossoms and leaves. She of lilies of the valley on the white prayer book carried by her moth er at her wedding. Mrs. Larry Yarnell, Ashland, a childhood friend, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Frances Forney, Eugene. Harriett Swan- son, Eureka, California, both so rority sisters; Carrie Sue Hen- bronner, Klamath Falls, and Mrs. James Osborne (Joan Estes), Lakcview. All wore sleeveless frocks of romance blue silk or ganiza in the modern mode, with blue velvet hair clips and rhine- stone dotted veils. They carried ar rangements of blue delphinium and white rosebuds. David Todd, Pleasanton, Cali fornia, performed the services of (Continued on Pnge 3C) THE ENGAGEMENT of Marilou O'Connor to Richard Joseph Unger was announced this week by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh D. O'Connor, 133 Grant Street. Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward G. Unger, Mount Angel, Oregon. Marilou attended school in Merrill, where her parents, now retired, were well known ranchers; and Sacred Heart Academy, Klamath Falls. She received her B.A. at Mount St. Mary's College, Los Angeles and her M.A. in llbrar ianship at the University of Denver, Colorado. Richard attended schools in Mount Angel before enrolling at Gon laga University, Spokane, where he received his B.A. He received his M.A. at St. Louis University, Missouri. He is a member of Kappa Phi Kappa, honorary educational fraternity. Marilou is a member of Delta Epsllon Sigma, Cath olic honor society, and is active in the Klamath Falls branch, American Association of University Women. Both are members of the Klamath Falls Union High School fac ulty. A Christmas season wedding is planned. E. Rob inson, 841 Pacific Terrace, when her engagement to John Gerbert, son of Mr. and Mn. E. J. Gerbert, Alpine, Texas, was announced. Zon, who will be a senior at Lewis and Clark College this fall, is pictured her en the terrace of the Robinson home. Her gown of white imported organdy, with bodice of all over embroidery, was strapless, and the wore a corsage of white roses and! steph anotis with a touch of pink. John, a graduate of Sul Ross State College in Texas, Is em ployed in Klamath Falls.
