The pilot survived. Worth 0. Wiley, 58, who was returning to a landing strip on his arm near Uayton, said he was following, the river "looking at the water skiers when the low flying plane struck the power line. It nosed into the river bank and overturned. Wiley untangled him self from the cockpit and was taken ashore by two witnesses, Howard E. Renner of Newberg and Al Cummings of Albany. Wiley suffered multiple cuts, bruises and a concussion. Ho was returning from Newberg after flying in some corn for the annual Hying Farmers Corn Feed there.
