They were wed early yesterday in a secret ceremony to avoid the glare of publicity that surrounded the marriages last autumn of Annette and Cecile. The fourth sister, Yvonne, is a registered nurse. Emilie died in 1954. Two altar boys witnessed the wedding ceremony and then as sisted in a nuptial Mass in the Sacred Heart Chapel of Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church. Church officials would give no de tails on the wedding. The couple's honeymoon spot also was a secret. Marie, the shyest and frailest of the 24-year-old sisters, took pre liminary vows of a nun but left the convent after eight months. She opened a small flower shop in downtown Montreal but closed it when more people came to stare than to buy. She reportedly has been housekeeping for Yvonne recently. George Rouse, Houle's brother-1 in-law, said the wedding was sup posed to have been last Friday. I "But somehow the news got! around and Florent postponed it until today. He didn't want it to be a circus." Michigan Faces Showdown In Case Of 'Human Torch' FLINT. Mich. (APi-The State of Michigan faces a possible show down tomorrow in one phase of ous burning death of Teamster unionist Frank Kierdorf and the disappearance of Kierdorf's uncle Herman. A hearing will be held in Gen esee County Circuit Court on the plea for freedom of Jack Thomp son, a Teamsters man held in the strange case. Thompson, 41, a Teamsters business agent, was cranted a writ of habeas corpus Monday by River Pioneers Reunion Planned FORT KLAMATH-The Wood River Pioneers and Old Timers Association will hold its annual reunion this weekend, according to Myrtle Wimer, secretary. The social evening and election of officers for 1958-59 will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 16. in the C. I. clubhouse in Fort Klamath. The potluck picnic will start at 1 p.m.. on Sunday at Kim ball State Park at the head of Wood River. Coffee, punch and ice cream will be furnished. Those attending are asked to bring per sonal table service and a food item for the picnic. its attempt to solve the mysteri-jJudge Stephen J. Roth, who will nolo tomorrow s hearing. Thompson is held for investiga tion of arson in a fire at a Flint. Mich., dry cleaning shop at which people say Frank Kierdorf, 56, an e.x-convirt, sulfered his fatal burns. Kierdorf was a Teamsters! business agent. 1 If Thompson is to be retained! in custody. State Atty. Gen. Paul L. Adams must prove evidence against him in the blaze. Other wise, Thompson will be freed. He was arrested on Adams' orders. Judge Roth approved the writ amid hints of calling a grand jury into the case and as the search for Herman Kierdorf con tinued unavailing. Herman. 68, a former Team sters business agent, vanished prior to his nephew's death after vowing vengeance for what hap pened to his relative. At that time the only explana tion for the younger Kierdorf's burns was his almost incoherent mumbling of a story that he had been set upon and burned delib erately by two men. Police later said they believed this a false story and that Kier dorf was burned accidentally at the cleaning shop fire. Meanwhile. Herman Kierdorf had been re leased from custody and disap peared. At a news conference in Lan sing Monday. Adams reiterated belief that Thompson had a con nection with the dry cleaners fire. The attorney general also dis closed he and State Police Com missioner Joseph A. Child's had discussed the possibility of asking a one-man grand jury investiga tion of the case. But he empha sized there has been no decision. .
