' w IS 1 ' -mm 1 1 ; ite y PLAYS LACKOSSE j BABE RUTH CLASSIC Babe Ruth championship teams from Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Washington, British Colum bia, and Wyoming will be hosted by Klamath's American League All-Stars in the Pacific Northwest Regional Babe Ruth Tournament which will get underway at 4 p.m. Wed nesday, August 6, at Gem Stadium. The all - important, five-day, double elimination tourney will decide the team to represent the Northwest in the coming Babe Ruth World Series which is to be played in Vancouver, British Columbia, starting August 18. The American League All Stars, Klamath Falls' representative in the tourney will be the host team. Their first test will come at 9 p.m. Wednes day night as they face Montana. Oregon and British Co lumbia will open the action Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
