Lee DeSaulnier, pastor of the Mount Shasta Evangelistic Tabernacle, has announced that Wonderland Camp meeting, held each year in Wonderland Camp, will run this year from August 6 through Au gust 17. ur. Kooert Simonds, of World Gospel Missions, will be the principal speaker. Evangelistic minister Rev. Paul Sweet, of Voice of China Missions of Pasadena, will be at Wonder land Camp Sunday. August 10. Rev. Sweet was converted in Asia while a soldier in World War II. He has served missions in various parts of the Orient, and is familiar with most of Asia, and South Pacific. Rev. DeSaulnier asks that any one interested in this revival move ment to write Wonderland Camp Meeting at P.O. Box 72. Mount Shasta, for full information. Montague Club Holds Meeting MONTAGUE An outdoor meeting of the Montague Women's Society of Christian Service was held in the yard at the home of Mrs. Hugh French of Montague. The meeting was opened with prayer led by Mrs. Elizabeth Hes- tig. Program chairman for the af ternoon was Mrs. Bud Rung, as sisted by Mrs. Edward Hargreaves end Airs. Tom Toulouse. The meeting was closed with the serving of refreshments by Mrs. French. In addition to those mentioned above, others present included Mrs. Fred Boersma, Mrs. George Dexter, Mrs. Harold Coalney, Mrs Willard Freeman, Mrs. Cornelia McCracken, Mrs. Tom Lennon Mrs. David Raab, Mrs. 0. A. Sel- '. by, Mrs. John Stafford, Mrs. Jim 1 walker, and guests, Mrs. Jack Rey nolds, Mrs. Paul Weddle and Mrs. E. Bowman. ft WESTERN SINGER SALLY WELLS, who has appeared on TV and made personal appearances throughout the nation, will be guest star at Saturday night's dance at the. Red Barn, Dorris, California, along with Bob Adney. Bob plays the lead guitar while Sally supplies the rhythm and vocals. This popular night club team will play with Pee Wee Stid ham and his Butte Valley Rangers, from 9 to I o'clock, Pacific Standard (Oregon) time, Saturday night at the Red Barn. Young Couples' Class To Start Altar Society Leader Named Members of the Altar Society of Pope Pius X Church, during their annual meeting elected Mrs. Allen Barrett, president; Mrs. Jake On- gare, vice president; Mrs. Jim Grimes, secretary, and Josephine Reginato, treasurer. Following the election, Mrs. Grimes and Mrs. Ewing presented it pantomime and Mrs. Jake On garo read a poem, "Unity." At the close of the meeting Fa ther George Murphy, pastor of Pope Pius X Church was present ed with an anniversary cake baked by Mrs. Harry Mauk, in honor of ins 25 years of service in the church. A newly organized young cou-. pies' class will start Sunday morn ing, August 3, at 9:45 a.m. at the Altamont Junior High School as an addition to other classes of the American Baptist Church, Klamath Falls, which . presently meets at the school. The class will be known :mm, Church Leader's Life To Be Shown The full length feature "Martin Luther," will be shown Sunday evening, August 3, 7:30, at the Altamont Junior High School S900 South Sixth Street, by the American Baptist Church. This is the dramatic story of the 16th Century monk who set out to find God s truth and became the Fa ther of the Great Reformation. Here I stand." Admission is free and all are invited. New Pastor Fills Pulpit Rev. Robert C. Groves, new pas tor of the First Presbyterian Church, Klamath Falls, will fill the pulpit of his new pastorate at the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, Au gust 3. He has arrived here with his family, Mrs. .Groves, their three sons, Bobbie, Tommy and Chuckie, and a friend John Hees from their former home in Ukiah, California. Rev. Groves filled the pulpit of the F i r s t Presbyterian Church, Ukiah, for seven and one half years. John Hees will complete his senior year next term at Klamath Union High School. The Sacrament of Holy Commu nion will be observed Sunday at the morning service. Mrs. Walter Badorek will smg, "Draw Nign To God." Mrs. George Mclntyre will be at the organ. as the Young Homemakcrs. The usual classroom time will be devoted this week by discussion and organization. The class will plan for a nursery, coffee hour, discussion periods and distin guished speakers. Mrs. May Car ter is caring for Mrs. Hartzle as she is recuperating from major surgery. From Sacramento Mrs. Leone Morrin of Sacramento is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Bell, Dairy. From Idaho Mr. and Mrs. Jake Moser of Hayden Lake, Idaho, were recent guests at the home of Moser's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Woods in Dairy. Another brother of Mrs. Woods, Ed Moser, Spokane, Wash ington, was also a recent guest. From San Jose Jan Clark, San Jose, is a houseguest at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bell, Dairy. LDS GATHERING LAKEVIEW Some 40 families gathered at the Drews Creek park on the evening of July 26 when approximately 100 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lakeview, attended the annual celebration commemorating the arrival of the Mormans in the Salt Lake Valley on July 24. After a fried chicken supper with all the trimmings, a program around the campfire was enjoyed including skits, talks, musical numbers and group singing.
