They said he was an Army
sergeant because he had an Army
sergeant's uniform, or then
again he was a Marine sergeant
because he had a Marine unilorm
or else he was discharged from
me Marines because he had dis
charge papers to prove it.
He came from either Reno or
Carson City, Nov., or else San
franeisco, Oakland, Hay ward,
Sacramento, CIrass Valley. Truc
kee, Kings Beach or Tahoe City,
Calif., depending upon which set
of papers you believed.
Authorities promised to put him
in a single jail cell where pre
sumably he may be able to pull
himself together.

SEOUL. Korea AP) A South
Korean patrol boat captured a
heavily armed Communist gun
boat that was going to land seven
agents in South Korea, the Navy
said Saturday.
The 20-ton vessel was intercept
ed Thursday 40 miles off Sokcho
City, which is 30 miles sout of the
demilitarized rnne dividing North
and South Korea. Two of the
agents were wounded in a brief
battle. No South Koreans were
hurt.
