The bride is pictured lower left, with her father, John David (Dave) Totton, as they started down the aisle before the ceremony. In the picture, lower right, the junior bridesmaids are all at tention as they get further instruction from the matron of htfnor, Mrs. Morris Friberg, Sacramento. Mrs. Friberg is a college friend of the bride and bridegroom. Although she looks more like a junior bridesmaid t- she was grad uated a week before -the wedding from University of Nevada, where she was a biology major. The picture above was one that the photographer couldn't resist. It was taken in an upstairs bedroom at the home of Mrs. Elmer Balsiger on Watson Drive, during the reception. 1 The bride and bridegroom left the festivities to change Into travel clothes, and Tom was assigned to Mrs. Balsiger's young son Randy's room. He noticed the mask . . . tried it on for size and decided to have some fun. When he joined his bride to escort her downstairs, her response brought others up the stairs and someone hurried after the photographer. What he saw you see. Karen is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. John David Totton, 1218 Crescent Avenue, longtime resi dents of Klamath Falls, promi nently-identified with civic and social life in the community. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Kandall, tteno. Monsionor T. P. Casey officiated at the Sunday afternoon nuptial ceremony in the presence of ap proximately 100 guests. Karen, escorted by her father. who gave her in marriage, wore her mother s wedding dress 01 white Chantillv lace over antique white satin. The bodice was made with a lace-collared high neckline and long bridal-pointed sleeves, Lace covered buttons fastened the dress' front from the collar lo within about a foot from -the hemline of the full, floor length skirt. Kapen wore the dress uiv fastened from below the hipline leaving the lace overskirt open to show part of the heavy antique satin foundation skirt. A seed pearl encrusted Juliet cap held her waist length veil of illusion and she carried a small arrangement of white orchids and lilies-of-the- vallev with wnite satin stream ers atoo a white prayer book. Her dress was the old: ner veu, new the Draver book was borrowed from Mrs. Robert Riggs; and the garter she wore was the blue, Mrs. Morris Friberg of Sacra- mento served as matron of honor and Michael Ann Totton. Karen' sister, and Marilyn Lee Randall, Edward's sister, were junior bridesmaids. Mrs. Friberg wore a floor length dress of dotted yellow nylon, made with a lace edged collar and lace edging on the cuffs of the short sleeves. Her nosegay was 01 yel low and white carnations and she wore a headband ot wnite carna tions and yellow daisies. The iunior bridesmaids wore similar dresses of the same dotted nylon in pale green and their flow ers were the same as Mrs. Fri berg's. Best man was Daniel J. Hanley, Reno: and ushers were Dean Ed ward Greear, the bride's cousin from Chiloquin; and Martin H. Conlin, friend of the bride fam ily, Klamath Falls. Acolytes were David Corfltn and Glen Slowey. Doris Hefley was organist for the wedding. The reception was at the spa cious suburban home of Mrs. El mer Balsiger on Watson Drive, Guests were received in the living room which easily accommodated the 100 guests. Mrs. Earl Greear. great-aunt of the bride: Mrs. John W. Merry man presided at the cof(ee serv ice; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kran enburg. maternal uncle and aunt of the bride served groom s punch nd "plain" punch, respectively. during the early reception hour and Mr. and Mrs. William H. Totton. paternal uncle and aunt of the bride, during the later hour. Mrs. W. H. Totton is Mrs. Elmer Bal siger's sister. Carolyn Nancy Randall, sister of the bridegroom, registered the guests. . For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Totton wore a beige linen chemise with brown chiffon trim and a matching chemise-line three- quarter length jacket. Her en semble was complemented with flower trimmed head-hugging -half- hat and a corsage ot pink roses Mrs. Randall chose a beige lace afternoon dress for the nuptial event. Her hat was made with a nower encircled shallow crown and a wide brim tilted away from the forehead. Her corsage was also of roses. Karen was graduated from KUHS in 1957, and attended Uni versity of Nevada for one year. It was on the university campus in Keno that she met her husband, He is a graduate of St. Joseph's Seminary, Mountain View, Califor nia. He served in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Navy for five (years, and Is a member of American Medical Technologists Association, He is now a senior, majoring in zooiogy at university of Nevada, ana is a member of Newman The wedding cake was served by Club. The couple will be at home, 658 Lake Street in Reno, after to day, June 8, when they return Irom their honeymoon in the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe. For travel, Karen wore a white pique sheath with a three-quarter length knit jacket in three shades of gray stripes. Her beret was white shoes and bag, black patent. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Randall, Marilyn Lee, Carolyn Nancy and Brad ley, the bridegroom's immediate family from Reno; Mr. and. Mrs. Winkleman, celeste winkel- man and Douglas Winkelman. Ash land; Nancy and Mary Steven son, Medford: and Mr. and Mrs C. M. Rohr, San Jose.
