Rodeo Show On TV Slated Oregon Tech's weekly TV pro gram, Tech Talks, will on May 20 present a group of young men who will be performing in t h e rodeo May 24 and May 25 at the Klamath County Fairgrounds. The fundamentals of bronc busting, bareback riding, calf roping and bull riding will be discussed, with demonstrations of the rigging used in these 'events. An explanation of the judging of contestants will also be given. Participating in the show will be Jerry Miller, Bill Dully, Gary Gregg and William Alford. All are OTI students who will be perform ing in the intercollegiate competi tion. Faculty members will be Adam Eckerich. H. A, tPete) Ped ersen and James Boyle. Church Gets Assignment MERRILL New sewing as signments for the year were re vealed during a meeting of t h e Woman's Association of the Mer rill Presbyterian Church held May 15 at the home of Mrs. George Mattson. The overseas sewing as sienment is to be sent to the Beth any Hospital in the Philippine Is lands. The national assignment is for the Presbyterian mission lo cated at St. Lawrence in Alaska. On June 19. the members of the afternoon Women's Association will combine a meeting with the evening circle at the church. Meet ing time is 7:30. The association accepted Jhe re sponsibility of collecting used clothing for overseas needs for the next four years. The meeting, attended by eight members, was conducted by Mrs. Vivian Haskins, vice president. Mrs. Carrie Mattson led the de votional program. The next regular meeting will be a potluck luncheon from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. William Kurtz on June 11. There will be a book discussion on "Conversations on Christ, the Church and Race."
