OREGON PAGE THREE Training Set For Scouters The Klamath' District Training Committee will conduct a basic training course consisting of three sessions for Boy Scout and Cub Scout leaders. The sessions will be held in the Mills School audi torium at 7:30 p.m. March S, 12, ana 26. Jim Young, training chairman. said that the sessions are designed to qualify a leader with the basic training requirements toward scout training awards as well as give the leaders the understanding and knowledge to do a better job with the boys. With the scouts meeting in the 1'inch room and the cubs in the library. Young said that on March 5, the scouts will discuss "What Boy Scouting Is," and the cubs, "What Cub Scouting Is." March 12, scouts "Troop Operation; cubs "The Achievement Plan:" and on March 26, scouts "Meet ings and Activities," cubs "Den and Pack Activities." Young said that anyone interest ed is invited to the meetings. Sojourner! The annual spring dinner dance will be held on Satur day, March t, in the Pine Grove Hooin of the Willard Hotel. The cocktail hour at 8 p.m. will be followed by dancing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Buffet dinner will be served at 11 p.m. Guests as well as members are welcome. Fashion Show The Venture Club is sponsoring a fashion show and card party to be held in tne auditorium of the city library, Fri day, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Fashions for the show are by Bon Bazaar Guests are requested to bring their own cards and for reservations call TU 4-5029 or TU 2-4141. I A "wanted for murder" alarm was out today for Robert G. Clifford, 17, in the shooting death of his father, mother and young brother. The bodies of Robert G. Clif ford, 47; his wife Marie, 43; and their son Ronald 14, were found vesterdav in their modest home. Police said all three had been shot in the head several times with a .22-caliber rifle. The mother's body, in house clothes, lay sprawled on a bed. The bodies of the father and son were found near the door. Police theorized Mrs. Clifford was shot first, and that Clifford and the boy were shot as they entered the house. Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Douglas, 1919 Erie Street, has be come one of the nation's first sol diers to take part in field exer cises testing the Army s new 'pentomic" battle concept at Fort Lewis, Washington.
