Services will start at 1:30 p.m. Theme of the devotions will be "Bread of Life" with prayers and Bible readings. The service is sponsored by the United Council of Church Women, Mrs. Norman Guyle, president, presiding. Child care will be pro vided. Card Party The Shasta View Building Association will have a public pinochle card party Satur day night at the Community Hall on the corner of Shasta Way and Macuson street at 8 o clock. Food Sale Edna Holder Circle of the First Methodist Church will hold a cooked food sale on Satur day, February 22, at 9 a.m. at the Market Basket, Ninth and Pine ftreets. Honored Gaynor D. Huck, a senior at Southern Oregon College, was chosen king at the Sweetheart Ball which was held recently. Huck, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Huck, 504 Owens Street, was chos en from among five candidates. His fiancee, Judy Hall, Medford, was chosen queen. Returned Mr. and Mrs. Ice land Snead and , daughter, 1902 Laurel Street, returned here from a two-week vacation in Hawaii, where they were visiting their son and brother, Larry, who is sta tioned with the Navy at Barbar's Point. Larry is an air technician third class and is a June 1956 ary 11, South Sixth Street Commu-I nity Hall. Shirley Mayhew will teach round dancing, lake dough nuts or cream puffs. OTI Students To Graduate Twenty student nurses graduat ing from Oregon Technical Insti tute will be capped as licensed practical nurses Monday evening, 7 o'clock, at the First Christian Church. Nineteen students were graduated In the first class in 1952 and since that time 10 classes of 81 gradu ates have completed t h e year's course. Jack Douglass, business manager of OTI, will act as master of ceremonies. The Rev. Otis Bell of the First Christian Church will de liver the invocation. On the pro gram as soloist will be Ray Lund-green. Featured speaker of the evening will be Dr. Hugh Currin who will speak on the ' Responsibility of the Licensed Practical Nurse. Teacher and Coordinator Mrs Natalie Reichenberg will present the pins. Mrs. George Beddow will do the capping.
