Ml&Olrf0fi!M'5 ' Lanceretfes Hold Meeting MONTAGUE Plans for a food sale on February 8 and results of. the rummage sale held in De cember were reported by Donna Mays, president of the Montague Lancerettes, when they held a potluck supper and meeting recent ly in the club room of the Mon tague auditorium. Parents of the girls were guests. These sales are held throughout the year by the girls' riding group as a means of raising funds to provide for their horses when they travel to various rodeos. The Lan cerettes are already booked to participate in the rodeos to be held this summer in Etna, Red ding, Klamath Falls, the Shasta Valley Annual Junior Rodeo, Shas ta Valley Stampede and the Sis kiyou County Fair. New bylaws were adopted by the group. It was also decided to send post cards to their parents with the announcement of meetings, and to renew their insurance pol icy. Mrs. Mary McFarland was se lected to check the girls' horses, riding gear and other equipment prior to entering an arena. ' Basin Churches To Hold Meeting Klamath Baptist Association, composed of five churches in the Klamath Basin, will meet Tuesday night, February 11, at 7:30 for its monthly meeting. A potluck din ner at 6:15 will precede the meet ing. The Woman's Missionary Union and the Men's Brotherhood of the association will be in charge of the program. Some of :-the local young people will assist. ' The meeting will te held in the auditorium of the First Baptist Church of Klamath Falls. The pot luck dinner will be in the church basement. Fashion Show Program Set ,YREKA The ninth annual fash ion show and luncheon, sponsored by the Yreka Methodist Church, is scheduled to' take place at the armory building at the Siskiyou County Fairgrounds on March 15. Theme of this year's show will be "Belles and Beaux," and, for the first time since its inception, will feature men's and boys fash ions, as well as feminine, with lo cal men to model the smartest and latest in men's apparel. Participating in the preparation of the show, luncheon and enter tainment are the various church groups of the Yreka Methodist Church, which includes the Wom en's Society of Christian Service, Methodist Men, the Wingdingers, Young People's groups, the Sun day School and the ting's Daugh ters.
