Wednesday Bible Study Students Seek Foreign Trip DUNSMUIR Applications from four Dunsmuir High School stu dents.'who are qualified and able to spend the summer in some for eign home, have been sent by high school officials to the Ameri can Field Service headquarters in New York. The four applicants are Kathleen Welborn. Kay Patterson. JoAnne Kelby and Susan Thomas. The officials hope a Dunsmuir student will be selected under the stpdenl exchange program to go abroad this summer. Any school that has an exchange student in attendance is eligible to nominate candidates for the trips. Ulla Bernston, from Sweden, is the exchange student in Dunsmuir. The financial obligations for the exchange student have been met, according to the Dunsmuir Wom en's Club which sponsors the pro gram. The club stated, at its last meeting on January 21 at Hotel Dunsmuir. that a request for sup port from individuals and city or ganizations met with gratifying re sponse. Another club project, improve ment of the city's branch library, is also progressing it was reported at the meeting. The program topic for. the meet ing was home decoration with a scries of color slides, provided by the Celanese Corporation of Amer ica, illustrating the use of foreign themes in home decoration. Mrs. Louis Oberkamp and Mrs. Albert McHenry presented the program. A dress length of celanese was won by Mrs. Florence Taylor.
