The board will seek $889,000 in statt aid for the building program. A school site in north Dunsmuir on land known as the Wehrheim property is now being considered by the board. The first choice of sites, the Herrin Estate, was re cently sold to the St. Germain Foundation. The undeveloped acre age now being surveyed belongs to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reed and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brennen. At its Tuesday night meeting, the board summed up the reasons for quick action on a new school. Members pointed out the current school building is overcrowded, cannot be expanded on its present site and is below state standards in many respects. They also noted that forest reserve funds now available for site purchase will be lost to the district if not used this year. DOORS CPEN 6:30 P. M. ENDS TONIGHT ! SATURDAY!
