Base Plans ' Club Halloween Cdstume Party Enlisted lien's Wives Club made plans for a Halloween costume party during the regular 8 p.m. business meeting, October 9, at the Airmen's Club. The festive gathering, slated for" 8 p.m., October 26, will be the first major social event to be staged by the newly organized Hi-Jinks Club Dinner Dance LAKEVIEW - The Hi-Jinks Club first dinner dance of the season was Saturday evening, Oc tober 13, at Van's in Lakeview. Dinner was served in the Star light dining room and dancing was later diversion in the banquet hall. Holloween served as a theme for the decorations. Guests for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bowes, Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Cornett, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Flynn, Mr. and Mrs. Ted McKee, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Young, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hudson, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Lerwick, Mr. and Mrs. Al Leonard and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Pratt. Committee members were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Osterman, (co chairnicn); Mr. and Mrs. Dick Peat, Mr. and Mrs. Fields Flynn, Mr. and Mrs. Ben- Vernon, Mr. and Mrs. Roehl atts, Dr. and Mrs. Harry Sabin, Mr, and Mrs. Nat Smith and Mr. and Mrs. War ren Maxwell. Dance music was by Bill Kelso's orchestra. group. Refreshments were served after the October 9 business session, with club president, Mrs. Richard Hendrick and Mrs. Alfred Heroux hostesses for the day. TL .Teachers Exchange Vows TULELAKE In- an informal ceremony in the Williamson River Mission, Mrs. Maxine VanBus- kirk, Tulelake, became the bride of H. James Zeller also of Tule lake. Both are well-known members of Tulelake school faculties. The Rev. Harley Zeller. father of the bridegroom, officiated al the double-ring service in the ores ence of the two families and close friends. The bride wore a blue princess style frock made on princess lines with seashell pink accessories and pink rose buds at the shoul der. Margaret Burnett, Klamath Falls was matron of honor. She wore a navy ensemble with navy and white accessories. William Zeller, Baker, Oregon brother of the bridegroom was best man. Masses of yellow and bronze chrysanthemums were used at the altar and in the Williamson River Community Hall where guests gathered for the reception.
